Maybe a hierarchical system may also be feasible, with a large number of nested domains. Basically a large number of domains above and below and running in parallel. The energetic and conceptual would then be nested in or contain the domains, or even running in parallel. It could explain the higher dimension "New Age" nonsense though.

This sounds exactly like what Prophecy proposed in his article "Treatise on Elemental Magic". Is this just a theory of yours that happens to coincide with what Prophecy said, or is hermetics and elementalism where you got it from?

From Prophecy's "Treatise on Elemental Magic":
The Threefold Nature
I have treated to no small extent in several of my articles of the threefold nature of our universe, namely that all things have their pure existence in the Celestial sphere, and emanate downwards into our physical world. I shall treat of this in specific elemental detail here.

It is a theory of mine developed independently after much careful observation of the underlying functioning of energy work. The correspondence to Prophecy's description is simply because this seems to represent a fundamentally observable aspect of reality, rather than just being a model. The first time I saw Prophecy's description of this matter, I was impressed with how similar the descriptions were. In fact, I've since found descriptions which are essentially identical in roughly a half dozen different systems out there, from various assorted cultures around the world. Your theory seems to make sence now, I will go with your theory as it seems to have more proven evidence for it, earlier comment left for historic reasons. --TachyonXV 16:03, 9 Aug 2005 (PDT)

For anyone who's read the three books Of Occult Philosophy

Please edit the three worlds to make them more accurate, if you understand them better than I was able to present. I'm still quite confused on how agrippa means certain things, most notably the intellectual world. ~kakkarot 11:26, 11 Aug 2005 (PDT)
