A spiritual guide is a being which is closely associated with an individual's soul, and provides a continual guiding influence to direct the person toward greater learning and spiritual growth. Spiritual guides are known in many different systems by many different terms, such as "guardian angels", "guardian spirits", "counselors", and sometimes the "Holy spirit".
