Lucid dream

A lucid dream is a dream in which one becomes consciously aware that one is dreaming; and in which one gains any degree of conscious control within the dream. Lucid dreams are often accompanied by a heightened sense of the realism of the experiences in the dream, where images and sensations are crisper and fuller. In addition to conscious control of the self, lucid dreams can also include conscious control over the environment of the dream.
