"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science." - Albert Einstein

Welcome to the Veritas Society, a place of discussion and learning. We focus on all metaphysical studies, including psionics, chi and magick. We all come from different social and cultural backgrounds, but are united in our search for truth. If you wish to join us in our search, or study with well established practitioners, read on.

The original Veritas website was founded at the turn of the millennium. The name "Veritas" comes from the Latin word for "truth". Over the years, our community has evolved to include thousands of members, all from very different backgrounds and with very different ideas on metaphysics. We have blossomed and thrived, and can now easily say we are one of the largest and most active energy communities on the Internet. What's our secret?

Because the Veritas Society is a place of learning, we try to promote academic freedom with open discussion and debate of new proposals and theories. We understand that this field of study still has many open questions, and we allow and encourage all kinds of opinions and theories to exist simultaneously within our community. This encourages discussion and research, and stimulates all of our members. Over the years, our member base has grown to include many experienced practitioners, and education has become our second goal next to discussion. Even our staff disagree on certain subjects, so we encourage our members to explore a wide range of theories and determine the truth for themselves.

This website is the portal to our community. The links at the top of this page will take you to the various sections of our website. We have a wiki site with pages written by our members and staff, an extensive article base of articles written or selected by our teachers, and we have community forums and chatrooms where we discuss various related topics. Keep in mind that although you will be able to view a lot of information on our website, you need to register (for free) in order to edit the wiki, post on the forums, or send private messages to other members.

If you have any more questions about the Veritas Society, take a look at our Frequently Asked Questions page. It has more detailed information on our Society and the people who are part of it. Good luck with your exploration of the metaphysical arts, and most importantly, have fun.

Veritas lux mea. Veritas vos liberabit.
