Psychology, commonly defined as the science of behaviour and mental processes; is a field involving the study of behaviour, thought and the neurological bases of behaviour. Psychology also refers to the application of such knowledge to various spheres of human (and sometimes animal) activity, including problems of individuals' personal and daily lives; or the treatment of mental illness.
