A religion which follows the tenets of the man called the Christ, Jesus, as outlined in the various new testament books of the bible and/or apocrypha and psuedopigrapha. There are many denominations to christianity, each with it's own biases and doctrines focusing on certain aspects of Jesus' teachings, as well as a non-denominational sect which claims to attempt to adhere as closely as possible to the original teachings of Jesus and Jesus' apostles.

And then there's the organizations which claim to be christian but make up their own teachings and follow those instead of what Jesus taught; Catholics (via the popes, and groups which decided doctrines to believe in), Jehovah Witnesses (claim that Jesus came again with new teachings for mankind to follow), Mormons (use both the bible and the questionable book that some guy "found"), and a few others.
